Why is using natural ingredients on your skin better for your skin and the environment?

To begin, using non chemical substances, is better for the environment as when they are made a lot of the toxins are released and often harsh procedures have to be followed through to make the products, which is damaging not only to a lot of skin types but also to the environment, specifically the wildlife and flourishing plants. When using natural ingredients, that have been created by nature, the process of creation carries no harm to the environment, as well as by making the products yourself, the need for packaging and repurchasing packaging becomes minimal. Using natural remedies can also be more effective and one can always create products that are tailored exactly to what the skin needs. Needless to say, even though laboratory-made cosmetics and skin care products my function better to a certain extent, due to the chemicals incorporated, this can be extremely damaging to the skin and often goes by unnoticed until further along in life.
